"PROVENS"

This privacy policy regulates how PROVENS collects, uses, maintains, and discloses information gathered from visitors through the website www.provens.edu.rs (hereinafter referred to as the 'Website').

This privacy policy applies to the Website and all products and services offered by PROVENS, in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Law ("Official Gazette RS" No. 87/2018) as well as the General Data Protection Regulation (hereinafter referred to as GDPR).

USER PERSONAL DATA

When using the website www.provens.edu.rs, only the personal data entered by the user, which is necessary for the delivery of ordered books, is collected. These include the name and surname of the person placing the order, address (street and number, postal code, and city), and mobile phone number, and they are used exclusively in connection with the ordered product. The mentioned data is strictly protected and is only available to employees of PROVENS.

PROVENS is legally obliged to handle the collected personal data of users in accordance with the conditions stated in the Personal Data Protection Law and the GDPR.

In accordance with the regulations, the mentioned data cannot be shared, forwarded, or traded in any way (completely or partially). Complete user data is stored on servers protected from unauthorized access, and email addresses are stored within the MailChimp system, which has adjusted its operations to GDPR regulations.

OTHER DATA

PROVENS has the right to collect non-personal identification data about the User at any time during their interaction with the Website. Non-personal identification data may include the name of the browser, the type of computer, and technical information about the User's means of connection to our Website, such as the operating system, the Internet service provider used, and other similar information.

DATA SHARING AND COOKIE NOTICE

For the purpose of analyzing its traffic, the Website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google, Inc. (Google). Google Analytics uses cookies—small text files stored on the user's computer, which allow us to analyze how users access the Website. The information collected in this way about your use of the Website (including your IP address, but  without your personal data) will be transmitted to and stored by Google on servers located in the USA. Google will use this information to analyze the usage of the entire website and to create reports on site activity.

Google may transfer this information to third parties where required by law or when those third parties process the aforementioned data on behalf of Google. Google will not associate your IP address with any other data it holds and will never receive your personal data. You can disable the use of cookies by selecting the appropriate settings in your web browser, but please note that by doing so, you will not be able to use the Website in its full functionality. By using the Website, you consent to the processing of your data by Google in the manner described and for the purposes mentioned above.

PURPOSE OF DATA COLLECTION AND USER RIGHTS

The data collected from users through the use of the Website are used to improve our services and understand how visitors use the site. Users who enable the option to receive periodic email (newsletter) notifications during account registration will have the option to unsubscribe from the mailing list with each email message received. In accordance with the GDPR Regulation, the user may at any time request a record of the data stored about them in our database and may request that the data be deleted in the sense of permanent removal from the database.

CHANGES TO THE PRIVACY POLICY AND ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS

PROVENS reserves the discretionary right to update this privacy policy at any time in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Law and GDPR. When we do, we will revise the updated date at the bottom of this page, and in the case of significant changes, we commit to notifying all registered users of the Website. We recommend that users occasionally check this page for any changes and to stay informed about how we protect personal data collected. You agree and accept that it is your responsibility to read and understand this privacy policy.
